Currently Roorkee is bejeweled by many premier academic and research institutions of international significance like Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (formerly known as Thomson College of Civil Engineering), Central Building Research Institute, Irrigation Research Institute, National Institute of Hydrology, and Alternate Hydro Energy Centre. Roorkee College of Engineering is a leading educational institute in the fields of engineering, pharmacy, management and agriculture studies. It offers UG and PG courses with 100% placement assurance if a student follows the instructions and guidance of the concerned department or mentor. It was established in 2010 in the Roorkee (the mini-London of the world) city of Uttarakhand by first Chartered Accountant of Roorkee, Shri S. K. Gupta ji with a noble vision to make a bridge at the institute-industry interface. It has a unique system as a mandatory part of the academic curriculum; students have to undergo 80 hours of aptitude and soft skills training to enhance their mental ability, aptitude, skills, and capability to compete for campus placement.

Roorkee College of Engineering, with its far vision and meticulously thoughtful system, is engaged in educating the young generation to develop engineers as well as graduate in pharmacy, management and agriculture in sync with the 21st century. While integrating the usual syllabus, the curriculum is updated with industry professionals covering the entire spectrum of new age perceptions. As per the present-day scenario of industry and education, professional fields require an eclectic and inclusive approach. Industry requires the next generation of skilled technocrats with good communication skills and good thinkers in technology development. We focused from the beginning of the courses and trained the students as per industry exposure. The courses and programmes offered at RCE have been crafted with care and devotion; the vision plan has been successful; our placement record this year is 96%, and the highest package is 85 LPA. • - The student securing more than 60 % (Agg.) in 12th Class and his/her parents belong to Armed Forces/ Farmers/Freedom Fighter/Martyrs Teachers/RCE'ians Siblings/Siblings/Orphan Child/University Employee shall be eligible for scholarship of 25% on tuition fees for first year only for 2023 and 2022 pass out.
