Om Sterling Global University was established under Haryana private universities act – 2006 as per section 2F OF UGC ACT – 1956. It is promoted by Om Welfare Society Registered under Society Registration Act, Bearing number 00353 Dated on 17/10/2013 and is dedicated to achieve its vision, mission and objectives through academic excellence in all areas of knowledge and skills. The university is spread over 30 acres of fully-developed institutional land with a lush green campus, modern infrastructure and excellent academic atmosphere. The process of taking admission at Om Sterling Global University is so simple and takes very little time. Please read the general guidelines prior to start the admission process at OSGU. The admission can either be taken in offline or online mode. The steps of both the modes are as follows:

The Offline Mode of taking admission involves the following steps :

Visit to admission cell located at OSGU campus.
Filling up of application form for admission on prescribed Performa available at the admission counter of the OSGU.
Appearing in Om Sterling Global University Entrance Examination (if any) followed by GD/PI at a center fixed by the University, wherever applicable.
Submission of required documents as mentioned in documents checklist.
Deposit of fee and issue of enrollment letter.
Issue of admission letter.
You are enrolled at OSGU.

The Online Mode of taking admission involves the following steps:

Fill the basic details on admission.osgu.ac.in tab to start the registration process.
Your email id and mobile no. verification will be done and after successful verification, your login details (username and password) will be emailed to you.
Now login using the user-id and password credential as provided to you.
Apply by filling online form along with a payment of application fee for the course of your interest subject to fulfilling of eligibility conditions.
Now you will get an offer letter for admission from OSGU.
Upload your documents.
Now you will get the admission acceptance letter.
Pay the requisite fees.
You are enrolled at OSGU

General Guidelines
ADMISSION POLICY

A student shall be eligible for admission to any course of study offered by the University if she/he fulfills the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the University Prospectus and follows the admission process prescribed by the University for the Particular Course of study.
A student shall also be eligible for admission to any course of study of this University on migration from any other University or Board if she/he has passed an examination equivalent to the examination of this University prescribed by the Ordinances for admission to the concerned course of this University: For transfer of credits please refer to Ordinance (Transfer of Credits) of the University available at the website.
Application form for admission to the various programs offered by University may be obtained from the admission office or downloaded from the website.
Admission of students shall be made strictly on the basis of merit adjudged through All-India Common Entrance Test or through OM Sterling Global University Entrance Test/Merit/Viva/Personal Interview or a combination of these.
The Entrance Examination shall be held at University campus and/or other such places as notified by the University from time to time.
Minimum qualifications for admission to the programs in various Departments have been prescribed and are available in information brochure/University website.
Only such candidates who have passed an examination of an Indian University/ Board established or recognized by State/Central Government or such other examination as has been recognized equivalent by State/Central Government/ University shall be considered for admission.
Admissions to the various programs of studies shall be made by the Admission Committee of the concerned Department comprising of the Dean/ HOD as Chairman, and two members nominated by the Vice Chancellor.
The syllabi, format, duration, scheme of evaluation of the entrance examination will be as decided time to time by the University.
The University shall follow reservation policy prescribed by the State Government for private universities for admissions to various courses.
If, at any time, it is discovered that a candidate has made a false or incorrect statement or other fraudulent means have been used for securing admission her/his name will be removed from the rolls of the University.
Minimum of 25% seats for admission in the University will be reserved for students of the State of Haryana.
The students shall deposit fees as prescribed by the University from time to time on or before the date fixed by the University.
Admission process involves the following steps:
1. Filling up of application form for admission on prescribed Performa and a payment of Rs. 750/- for Diploma/UG and Rs. 1000/- for PG courses as an application fee.
2. Appearing in Om Sterling Global University Entrance Examination followed by GD/PI at a centre fixed by the University, wherever applicable.
The following documents are required to be submitted at the time of depositing the fee:
1. Self attested copies of 10^th, 12^th, UG and PG mark sheets (as applicable).
2. Self attested copies of qualifying examination/entrance examination, whichever applicable.
3. Proof of residence.
4. Passport size photographs (4 Pcs.).
5. Photocopy of AADHAR Card.

The fee concession for the 25% of the students who are domicile of Haryana shall be based on merit-cum-means and be as follows:
1. One fifth of the 25% will be granted full tuition fee concession.
2. Two fifth of the 25% will be granted 50% tuition fee concession.
3. The balance two fifth of the 25% will be granted
4. 25% tuition fee concession.

Admission FAQ’s
When was OSGU Established?
The Om Group of Institutions (OGI) has been a provider of world class education since 2008. It started its operation with two colleges and spread its wings within a very short span of time. It is the leading educational institute based in Hisar (Haryana). The Om Group of Institutions was further converted into a University in the year 2019 with the name Om Sterling Global University.

Is the University recognized and duly approved by UGC?
Om Sterling Global University has been provided with the registration under section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 by University Grants Commission. The university is duly approved and recognized by UGC after a very detailed point specific inspection of all our physical infrastructural along with potential of moving ahead with the time.

Are Technical programmes of OSGU duly approved by AICTE?
Om Sterling Global University has been established through an Act of Haryana Legislature and also as approved by UGC, it does not require approval letter from AICTE.

Are all the courses running in each school of OSGU duly approved by concerned authority?
Yes, all the courses which are being run in every school of OSGU have been approved by their respective concerned authority and legislative body. For more details, plz visit the accreditation and approval section.

Is there any Entrance Exam?
Yes but not mandatory, applicants who possess the minimum eligibility to take admission in concerned course will be required to appear for OSGUSAT (Om Sterling Global University Scholarship Admission Test) if they want to avail the scholarship based on their academic performance to be judged by this test. However, if you have qualified any other course related entrance exams like(MAT/CAT/CLAT) you may be exempted from appearing in the entrance examination on the discretion of the University.

What are the documents required for admission?
On the date of appointment/walk-in, applicants will be required to bring the following documents:

The above list of documents is general in nature. Some other documents related to particular course of study can also be asked to submit at the time of admission for which allowance of time (if required) can also be permitted.

Is there any hostel facility for students?
Students coming from different parts of the country as well as abroad, are provided comfortable stay in the University Hostels. We at OSGU, always stresses upon the comfortable stay of all our national and international students. The hostels (separate hostels for boys and girls) are surrounded by lush green eco-friendly environment and designed in a way that stimulates the study and extra-curricular activities in the campus. We provide all the real aspects of life in the hostel such as newspapers and books, culture based meal and food, safe drinking water, round the clock water supply, etc. Separate AC/Non-AC hostel for boys and girls with furnished rooms are available for more than 3,000 students, in Single/Double/Triple sharing basis.

At OSGU, how allotment of hostel rooms is made?
The hostel rooms to students are allotted on first-cum-first basis and are subject to availability of room along with the payment of hostel fee.

To Whom I have to report regarding problems in Hostel?
However, there are very rarest cases when you will find any problem during your stay at hostel but still if there is some, you can inform the Hostel Warden/Asst. Hostel Warden of the problems you are facing in the hostel.

Is OSGU a ragging free university?
Yes, we at OSGU follow a policy of ‘Zero Tolerance’ for ragging within and outside the campus.

Does OSGU offers any transportation facility?
The fleet of ultra-modern buses and cabs facilitates students and staff to commute to and from Hisar, Sirsa, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Jind, Narwana, Uklana, Tohana, Barwala, Hansi and all the nearby areas on paid basis. The transport facility is provided within a radius of about 90 kms.

Is the campus WI-FI enabled?
The campus has a seamless Wi-Fi network with more than 20 Mbps leased line with multiple ISP which allows student to get connected on the net any time, any-where be it hostel, college campus, library, cafeteria etc.

Are books provided to students from the University?
The state-of-the-art Libraries located in various Schools of the Om Sterling Global University remains open on all days on working time from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and up to 12-14 hours a day (subject to approval) during examinations. One Air-Conditioned Central Library is also available for the student to make their studies more comfortable. The library issues 4 books at a time to students on 14 days re-issue basis.

After completing all formalities related with admission what should I do?
After admission, you need to go to your respective school for attending the classes.

When do we receive our University ID card?
The university ID card will be issued by IT department and It will take at least 10 days after your admission in your concerned school.

What should I do if my ID card is damaged or stolen?
You will have to pay a nominal charges and a new ID card will be issued within 4 days of submission of payment for new ID card.

What should I do if there is some mistake in my ID card?
However, the process of ID card is done on the basis of personal checking and verification of the student concerned, still if there is some mistake you can get a fresh ID card. For this you need to write an application indicating correction(s) needed in the card and submit it in IT Dept. A fresh ID card will be issued within 4 days of submission of application.

How can I check my result, academic details and account details?
All results are available on University website osgu.ac.in. Click on “Student Login” and enter your login credentials which will be shared at the time you register IT department/ ERP Cell.

Om Sterling Global University has always been concerned with the vision of supporting deserving and meritorious students by assisting them to avail financial assistance. We believe that no financial matter should restrain the way for pursuing their higher education. Nowadays, nearly all the banks are providing attractive loan facility to the students. And students can also avail loan from any bank of their choice. In order to combat the parents with the adverse financial problems, we are also involved greatly to cater the financial assistance need of the students by helping them in obtaining educational loans.

OSGU Student can pay Fee in Installments, Interest Free Loan Facility
It will also cover 100% insurance coverage of the students along with debit and credit card facilities and study material foe e-learning. Financepeer has extended its facility to the more than 22 lacs students from 6000 schools of more than 60 cities of India. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of OSGU, Dr. N. P. Kaushik stated that this will help to carry out their studies for those those students who are facing financial difficulties in paying out course fees.

Om Sterling Global University has provided the EMI Facility for paying the fees to the students from the coming session. The COVID-19 pandemic has really proven a complex situation for the students in paying their course fess. Understanding this vary difficulty of the students, OSGU has signed an MOU with ‘Financepeer‘ which is a Google Incubated Company. The company will help students to clear their fee dues by availing educational loan with very lower interest based monthly installments.

OSGU-SAT Scholarship
The Learning System and Admission Process have become more complex in the new age of globalization. To meet the need for the hour, OSGU has announced that SAT (Scholarship Aptitude Test) is the world’s most popular educational provider since 2019.OSGU is the first private university in Haryana (India) to carry out such a comprehensive test in accordance with leading Universities and National/State level entrance tests.

Scholarship for Dependent of Ex-Serviceman
This scholarship is aimed at supporting the technical advancement and education in the society by promoting the dependents of Ex-serviceman. The scholarship is directed in order to show our gratitude towards the guard of our country i.e. The Navy. The scholarship is offered to the dependent wards and widows of Ex-Serviceman.
