It is organized by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

General Eligibility

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizens or hold PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cards.
  • State Residency: Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and meet the local/non-local status requirements as defined by APSCHE.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed or appeared in their final year of the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or equivalent, as recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.
  • Upper age limit: 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • General category candidates must score at least 25% of the total marks in the exam to be eligible for ranking.
  • No minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates, but admission is based on reserved seat availability and merit.
